Leadership Historic Triangle -- Class of 2007
PIPE Project (Providing Indoor Plumbing to Everyone)

Pipe Final Logo.JPG

The Leadership Historic Triangle Class of 2007 is raising money to install indoor plumbing in the homes located in the Historic Triangle communities of James City County, Williamsburg, and York County that still lack water and/or sewer.

  • Over 80 homes in the Historic Triangle still lack indoor plumbing.
  • The State of Virginia provides funding to assist families with the installation of indoor plumbing.  However, in the remaining homes lacking indoor plumbing, additional funds are required to cover the high cost of alternative sewer and water solutions needed.
  • The Providing Indoor Plumbing for Everyone (PIPE Fund) will fill this void by providing the gap funding needed to cover all project costs.
  • LHT is working with Housing Partnerships Inc. to provide indoor plumbing to everyone – “Connecting the Historic Triangle.”

By donating to the Providing Indoor Plumbing for Everyone (PIPE) Fund you can help eliminate this pubic health issue and improve the quality of life for everyone in our community.  Click here to donate. Be sure to indicate PIPE Fund with your donation.

If your organization is interested in having a presentation regarding  this project or would like to consider providing funding, please contact Kristin Forbes at ksforbes@cox.net and a speaker will be arranged at your convenience.
